Civil appeals consist of either appeals of final orders or non-final orders.  Final orders generally come at the end of a case, when the court has resolved all issues between the parties.  Final orders must be appealed within 30 days of their rendition.  See Fla. R. App. P. 9.110(b).  Rendition generally occurs when a written order is signed and filed with the clerk of the lower court.  See Fla. R. App. P. 9.020(i).  Non-final orders are all orders not constituting final orders.  Only a few non-final orders are appealable and Fla. R. App. P. 9.130 defines them all.  Non-final orders must be appealed within 30 days of their rendition.  See Fla. R. App. P. 9.130(b).

Weinbaum P.A. has been handling civil appeals since it opened its doors in 2010.  Many of Weinbaum P.A.'s appeals come from other attorneys.  The founder of Weinbaum P.A., Ms. Weinbaum has over 16 years of experience handling appeals before the Florida appellate courts and has worked on a wide variety of civil appeals in the Florida appellate courts.  Ms. Weinbaum is also a former law clerk of a judge that presided over civil matters and a former litigation attorney.   It is important to get an experienced appellate attorney who knows the appellate rules of procedure, knows the rules of civil procedure, has handled civil appeals before the Florida appellate courts, can craft top-quality briefs and present persuasive oral arguments.
